Packaging designed to celebrate the material - not cover it up.
Q for Quinn came to the project with a clear vision: packaging that felt premium, sleek and unmistakably natural on retail shelves while making the integrity of the 100% organic cotton inside immediately visible to the customer. The kraft paper was intentionally left exposed across the entire system to highlight and celebrate the natural fibre of the material itself - a quiet but confident statement that the brand has nothing to hide. The colour palette was built around that decision. Soft blue, considered green and warm brown tones were chosen to contrast against the kraft surface and create a strong foundation for the retail window - a key feature designed so customers can see and feel the actual cotton through the packaging before they purchase. Every visual decision was made to let the material speak first.

A custom illustration system built for two audiences in one brand.
Bespoke hand-drawn illustrations were developed across two distinct visual worlds - one for the adult range and one for the children's range - each capturing the warmth, character and softness the brand is known for while remaining unmistakably part of the same family. The packaging was designed to accommodate both English and French as a Canadian brand, with all mandatory regulatory information and barcode allocation thoughtfully integrated into the layout from the start. A complementary system of applied labels was developed for sizes - small, medium and large - and for both adult and children's styles, giving the client full flexibility to apply the correct variant directly onto the packaging without printing separate runs. The final result is a packaging system that delivers on every front: premium retail presence, material celebration, regulatory completeness and operational flexibility. Q for Quinn now has a packaging suite production-ready for retail rollout - sleek, distinctive and quietly confident about exactly what is inside.
Next projects.
